Well, for starters, this place deserves two stars but because of Jeff(the owner who has been nothing but amazing to every one of his customers), Bobby and Caroline I will go ahead and give it three. They make the atmosphere much better. I hate to say it but it is not worth the prices. I think Bobby has left, if not he is supposed to be leaving soon which is a huge loss. I'm going to be bluntly honest though. You can tell the employees are over worked and under paid by the way they talk in front of you. Personally from the past jobs I have held, that is very unprofessional and you don't talk like that in front of customers or clients. The food, depending on what you get is cold and not worth it. My food has either been too dry or too soggy, the wings are not that great. I went about a year after it first opened and the food was absolutely amazing, now it is hit or miss. The late night menu is supposed to start at 10 pm(I believe) during the week and 11pm on the weekends. More times than not I have walked in thinking I could order something off of the regular menu, before the late night menu had even started and they came and told me that the grill had been shut down. Some of them have offered to make something different, I will give them that. I have also walked in at times and one of the waitresses at 8:30 or 9:00 has said there was bar service only. I do spend the majority of my money there on a couple of drinks, however it would be nice to have more than just "bar service only" at 8:30 at night after just getting out of class or off of work. They have a couple of good waitresses such as Mallory and Caroline (when she does), but the others aren't that great. I witnessed one girl a couple weeks ago, one night who was trying to get a job. After interviewing she went outside and was very rude to a couple of the customers(like throwing the bird and cussing one out), I have watched the waitress more times than not make fun of customers(a lot of the time when she is off duty.) Multiple people have noticed and/or seen her, not just me. I'm actually appalled at her behavior, it doesn't make the business look good at all. That is honestly one of the biggest things that changed my mind about the bar alone. One or two of the bartenders are also very rude, basically unless you are a hot college chick you won't get refills until noticed. I witnessed him telling one guy who spoke his mind about the service that if he made "one more inappropriate comment he would be out of the bar." But honestly, what the guy said wasn't a lie and this guy wasn't too happy about his service either. I have noticed that a lot of the regular customers that I met when I first started going are going to different bars because the atmosphere has changed so much and how some of the people who work there treat them. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere like they have. I know I wrote a lot but I definitely feel like it's just not worth it like it used to be.

Understaffed, took 30 min to get food on a Wednesday night with only 6 other tables being occupied. Ordered the beef tacos which was just a chopped up flattop burger on a flour tortilla. Was told they didn’t have a kid menu and they did, fortunately kids eats free on the night we went, per menu. When check came kids meal were at full price, I informed the waiter that kids eat free on Wednesday per menu and he had no idea. Poorly managed with poor service

First time here while on business. Tuesday night so wasn't busy. Bartender and server was new, actually her first shift here. She was very friendly and easy to talk with. I had wings and they allowed me to sample flavors before hand. Food was served in normal time frame and was very good. Atmosphere was nice. Prices fair. Overall menu had good variety. Seems like a pretty well run local restaurant. I would definitely visit again.

My wife and I were on the hunt to watch the UNC Tarheels one night. After looking at 3-4 restaurant/bars, The Rock was the only resturant willing to stream ESPN3 for us to watch the game. They were also very nice, knowledgeable, and attentive. The appetizers,

food and drinks were on point!

I haven't had a bad meal here. The wings are awesome and if you like 'em crispy, order "Jeff" style. The "Pittsburger" is the "bomb"! (Do people still say that?) And the staff are the most friendly folks around, which trickles down from the owner, take it me, his younger brother.
