The waitress did not know how to count change back. I should have got $2.86 back instead she gives me $3 back.
Excellent food as always. Our server Mark was exceptional and even changed out a veggie that I wasn't happy with. It is where we always go to when we are in Boone. Wish we could go everyday. A big YUM.
Had to leave...two girls running front desk didn't have a clue. Empty tables all over and they were struggling. Horrible service which explains only a 3.8 rating. Went to Chili's down the street, much better choice.
Tried their new promotion and steak was undercooked and potatoes were already cooling. Usually good food but we came in as a group of 20× (local DAV chapter year end dinner). May have effected the food and service.
The Food was great but the Drinks from the bar. The bartender had to look in the book how to make a margarita. The strawberry daiquiri tasted like strawberry whipped cream and there was no alcohol had to send it back. Asked for a Rum Runner and they didn't know how to make that without looking in the book.
This place has good food and good prices. The quality of the food is mostly fine, but there are definitely some dishes that are better than others. The 2 for $20 menu is fantastic as the choices are broad and that includes an appetizer. Make sure to look closely at the 2 for $20 menu though because there are some options that don't have pictures.
