There are a fair amount of places to eat and shop. Most importantly the Wal Mart is here. This is one of the better places in Boone to visit for getting all your errands completed in a single location without running all around town.
Awesome shopping center close to everything with tons of offerings. You have super Walmart that has a huge grocery store and also has just about anything you could possibly need in the store itself. I particularly enjoy the self-checkout which is quick and easy. You also have Puerto Nuevo which is an awesome Mexican food restaurant. I have lived in Mexico and enjoyed authentic Mexican Cuisine. Puerto Nuevo offers the same here in Boone North Carolina, which I highly recommend! You also have a FedEx drop off location and this place will also pack your stuff for you and mail it off with UPS or USPS or FedEx. There are tons of other shops and restaurants the stuff that you will enjoy here. And you can also walk just down the street and enjoy at Starbucks if you like!
